Onward State - Lion Ambassadors Win Homecoming For the Glory Talent Show
Happy Homecoming Week, everyone! In case you missed Penn State Homecoming’s annual For The Glory Talent Show last night, check out a recap of the evening’s events through photos.
The show began with a dance number performed by the 2014 Homecoming Court.
Then came a series of throwbacks. In case the pink hair, helmets, and cargo shorts aren’t enough of a giveaway, yes, that is Rocket Power. Woogity, woogity, woogity.
High School Musical even made an appearance. Twice.
The evening continued with a few more Disney throwbacks, including this lovely Lion King rendition…
Then, Penn State Dance Alliance and Theta Chi took us to a whole new world…
Things went up from there. (Get it? Because space? And aliens?) Thank you for that, Penn State Equestrian Team and Delta Kappa Epsilon…
Sigma Alpha and Kappa Sigma taught us just how fun tape and glow sticks could be. #nofilter
In case any of you failed frat stars are still bitter about not getting a bid, allow me to ease your mind: At least you were not on stage in a tutu last night.
After the khaki storm, things got a little different…
…but the choreography stayed the same.
Suddenly, a massive school of sharks arrived.
One of the sharks was particularly acrobatic.
There were so many impressive acts! Here is Pi Kappa Alpha and Kappa Alpha Theta performing the A-team by Ed Sheeran:

Urban Dance Troupe making me feel even worse:
Alpha Chi Omega performing the acoustic cover of Drops of Jupiter that took third place!
But there could only be one winner…
…and the winners could only have one costume change.
Congratulations to the Lion Ambassadors for winning the 2014 For The Glory Talent Show!
Additionally, congratulations to Theta Chi and The Penn State Dance Alliance for winning second place and Alpha Chi Omega for its third place finish. Homecoming weekend is just a few days away!
