Rush for the Spring semester of 2012 has begun and continues through the first few weeks of the semester. Currently, Jeb Biernat, Michael Schappe
and David Stoltzfus
are the Recruitment Chairmen and would be happy to answer any questions about our fraternity, brotherhood, rush program or anything else about becoming the next brother of Theta Chi at Penn State. Feel free to contact them with any questions, concerns or for a listing of Theta Chi's Spring Rush events.
Why do I want to be a Theta Chi?
Theta Chi is a international fraternity of over 170 chapters. We are an educational institution dedicated to the growth and development of our members. The Omega Chapter boasts a chapter GPA above both the all fraternity and all men's averages and ranked second in the Inter Fraternity Council. Our chapter is dedicated to community service and campus involvement. Our annual philanthropy raises money for Make-A-Wish Foundation and Pennsylvania Branch of Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA).
Theta Chi is consistently in the top ten of Penn State Intramurals. We have won the fraternity intramural volleyball championship four out of the last five years. After the fall semester Theta Chi is currently in third place out of 47 fraternities.
Theta Chi has been a force in the annual Homecoming competition. Theta Chi finished in first place in the overall homecoming competition in 2007 & 2008, second in 2009 and third in 2010.
