Chapter Eternal - Undergraduate Br. Outland

We have been honored to call this man our Brother. The condolences of Theta Chi's extended worldwide family are offered to the family and friends of our deceased brothers.

It is with great sadness that we report the passing of undergraduate brother Mark Outland.

Mark passed away on Friday, November 3, 2006 in State College.

Brother Outland had suffered from chronic heart failure.

The Service of Thanksgiving for the Life of Mark Outland will take place Thursday, 9 Nov. at 1.30 in the afternoon at St. Andrews Church, Fraser Street, opposite the high school football field. Following the service there will be an opportunity for us to look over photos and share stories with mark's uncle and friends.

Mark Outland, 44, of State College. died on Friday. Nov. 4, 2006. at Mount Nittany Medical Center.

Born Nov. 22, 1963, in Greensboro, N.C., he was a son of the late Albert and Marian Lee Outland.

Mark attended Penn State.

He was a Staff Assistant for Penn State. He worked at the Bryce Jordan Center and at Beaver Stadium. He was previously employed by The Painted Plate, a catering company in Greensboro.

He was a member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church and of Theta Chi Fraternity at Penn State. He is survived by his uncle. Eugene Shaw-Colyer, of State College.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, Nov. 9, 2006. at 1:30 p.m., at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church. with the Rev. Larry J. Hofer officiating.

Friends will be received after the service.
