All chapter presidents will be required to attend the Deranian Presidents Conference in Indianapolis, Indiana on January 10-12, 2014. It is mandatory that your newly elected chapter president attend this event. As this attendance requirement was new last year, a limited number of vice presidents were allowed to attend in the president’s stead at the previous Deranian Presidents Conference. In 2014, the event will be strictly limited to chapter presidents with no exceptions granted.
Unlike last year, there will be no registration costs associated with attending the Deranian Presidents Conference. The costs for lodging, conference meals, and conference materials will be absorbed entirely by the International Fraternity. In addition, each Chapter President will be given a travel allowance. This will be based upon his chapter’s distance from Indianapolis and/or actual travel expenses incurred to offset expenses associated with travel to and from the event. More information regarding the travel stipend and other details of the event will be communicated later this fall.
