OX: Why
did you join Theta Chi?
Owen Fishman: Louis Martini was living on my floor in
the dorms when I was a freshman, he was a legacy and was about to pledge
in the fall of 1981. He recruited my self, Bob Dunston, Mike Portugal,
Alan Vladimir and Dave Mattiace.
OX: What is your favorite
Theta Chi memory or story?
OF: Way to many to pick one out. Maybe being real drunk
while taking a crap and having a black little sister put me to bed after
I threw up in my underpants.
OX: What kind of influence
has the fraternity had on your life since graduation?
OF: Friendship, loyalty and responsibility.
OX: Did you live in the house?
If so, who were your roommates? Tell us about a memorable time with them.
OF: Alan Vladimir, Mike Portugal, Anthony Panichelli and
David Whalen.
OX:
Where did your pledge class go on their pledge bolt/trip? What brothers
did you take? Any funny stories you can tell?
OF: We went to Gettysburg College in the dead of winter.
There was a lot of snow on the ground and we made a giant penis out
of snow. I think Al Vladimir made out with a girl who had green teeth.
We called her Julie Halitosis.

stay in contact?
OF: Bob Dunston, Tim Boyd, Chris Casciato, Jim Derrah,
Tim Paulsen, Ed Brown, Alan Vladimir, Phil Katchur, Joe Kopetsky,
Rob Scavello, Dave Yohannan and Pat O'Connor.

OF: Mike Portugal and Dave Whalen.
OX: What other activities
or organizations were you involved with during your college days?
OF: Booze, football, and broads.
OX: Tell us about your
family. Have you married? Do you have children?
OF: Married since May 1993 to Joyce with two boys,
Max age 10 and Alec age 7. And our dog "Nittany" age
11.
OX: What do you do
for a living?
OF: Regional Sales Manager for Custom Index, Inc.
OX: What hobbies do you
enjoy?
OF: Traveling, coaching my boys in baseball and soccer.
PSU football games.
OX: What are your goals
for the next few years?
OF: Continue to enjoy life, family, friends, etc.
