OX: Why
did you join Theta Chi? Jamie Koppersmith: Rod Miller, Christ Trentini, and
Dave Yohannan were checking out Theta Chi. I came out one time and thought
it was a great place so I rushed/pledged as well.
OX: What kind of influence
has the fraternity had on your life since graduation? JK: Parties at OX definitely deepened my love of music,
which has stayed with me to this day. It also helped me be flexible in
any kind of living situation.
OX: Did you live in the
house? If so, who were your roommates? Tell us about a memorable time
with them. JK:Rod Miller - freshman and senior years. Mark Holst
- sophmore and junior years. I could talk about Rod Miller's hyperactive
libido and his penchant for questionably attractive women, but that would
probably embarrass him (not).'
OX: With whom do you stay in contact? JK: Steve, Sennett, Rod Miller, Rob Scavello, Dave
Yohannan, Chris Trentini, Randy Sigmund, Nancy Lowry, Anthony Panichelli,
Joe Kopetsky, Greg Hotsenpiller, Rob Azarcon (my brother-in-law '02)
OX: Tell us about your
family. Have you married? Do you have children? JK: I have been married 6 years to Vivienne. We have
one daughter and a fluffy Samoyed - Chow Chow
OX:
What do you do for a living? JK: I work for a company called Riptopia which is
a digital music processing company. Our main thing is converting large
CD collections in digital music libraries. It ties together my passion
for music and interest in technology.
OX:
What hobbies do you enjoy? JK: Basketball, yoga, music, follow the Nationals,
spend time with family and friends.
